Dear Sir,
____I am sorry to report that the drainage system in our locality leaves much to be desired. The present drainage system is so defective that a good shower would create the whole area into a collection of small lakes and pools. The clogging of rain-water in some of these parts of the city becomes as deep as three feet. Consequently the whole traffic is dislocated and life comes to a grinding halt during rains.______________

Really it is shocking that the town council authorities have not taken any steps for improving the system so far. Many a time this problem has been brought to the notice of the concerned authorities through the press and other means but nothing has been done. May we hope now that you would immediately look into this matter and take urgent steps to avoid such public nuisance?

Yours faithfully

(Your Name)

Date : 3.11.2018,

Place : Jaipur.

To,

The Chairman,

Municipal Corporation of Jaipur,

Jaipur,

Rajasthan.

Subject : Bad drain conditions spreading diseases.

Respected Mr. Jaikant Shikre,

I, Mr. Bajirao Singham , aged 50, working as a Software Engineer in a XYZ company, a permanent resident of a XYZ colony, hereby am writing this letter to bring to your notice about the condition of drains in our locality. As you are aware, it is the rainy season and there is water logging everywhere due to unexpected heavy rains, the drains are not working properly. They have been clogged or overflowing (resulting in rain water mixing with sewage water). This is proving to be a breeding ground for mosquitoes, leading to a widespread of communicable diseases and non-communicable diseases, which is a serious concern among the citizens of our locality. I request you to kindly look into this matter urgently and resolve it at the earliest.

Thanking You.

Regards,

Mr. Bajirao Singham,

Jaipur.
