LETTER TO THE EDITOR
2. You are Deepak/Deepti residing in M S Nagar, Mysore. Write a letter to the
Editor of a popular daily complaining about the stray dog menace in your
area giving suggestions to the problem.

Value points:

• I wish to highlight the problem of stray dogs in our colony and draw the attention
of the concerned authorities.
• The number of stray dogs in the colony is increasing day by day
• huge number of dogs barking whole night and entering into premises of the
houses for rest or some food, unable to sleep peacefully at night.
• some of these dogs are quite violent – children fear to play, residents also afraid
• attack the passers-by and run towards motorbikes which leads to many accidents
• Some of these dogs also seem to be suffering from some diseases.
• it is high time that the concerned authorities take the necessary measures
• Municipal corporations and committees to take effective steps to control the
the population of these ferocious dogs.
• One solution to dealing with the problem - implementation of World Health
Organization guidelines with immediate effect- enforce pet control laws, neuter
and vaccinate pets, eliminate straying dogs (impound, rehome, shelter, return to
owners).
• would be really obliged if you could publish this letter in the columns of your
esteemed daily

Dear Sir ,

I am a resident of .... (address) . Through your newspaper I want to informing the concerned authorities about inefficient garbage collection and disposal system in my locality.

There are heaps of garbage lie on both sides of the road. No dustbins are provided. Sweepers do not sweep the lanes and the roads regularly. Rotten garbage emits a bad smell all around and has become a breeding ground for flies

and mosquitoes. In a windy atmosphere, garbage is dispersed on the entire lane. Situation worsened when one of the neighbors became sick . We are concerned about the safety of our family members and residents of the locality. It is high time that the problem is addressed.

It would be beneficial if rubbish should be collected daily or at least on alternate days and Garbage bins should be placed at a distance of 1km each. It would be really obliged if you could publish this letter in the columns of your esteemed daily newspaper so that the concerned authorities take immediate action.

Thanking you ,

Yours faithfully ,

Sangita Singh

HOPE IT HELPS

PLEASE MARK ME BRAINLIEST ☺️
