Subject: The Problems caused due to not following the traffic rules.
With the esteemed column of your newspaper, I would like to bring it to your notice that the residents of the city are not following the traffic rules properly and hence huge problems have occurred. Though the traffic lights have been functioning well, the people of the area don't care about it.
As the traffic rules are being ignored, the accidents on the roads are increasing. The people are not wearing their helmets and their seatbelts while travelling. To add more to the discomfort, people are not driving in their proper lanes. The passage of speed bikes and smoke emitting trucks have increased which ultimately results in air pollution. It became unsafe not only for old people and children but also to workers and employees who are in uge to cross the road.
These incidents have increased accidents which affects the life of the people. The ambulance couldn't reach the place on time due to the dense crowd of vehicles on the road.
So, I hope that you will publish this note in a column of your newspaper to spead the awareness and the need to start following traffic rules.
