India is facing a lot of disasters every year. Floods, earthquakes, excess rains, droughts, viral diseases, forest fires , tsunamis are disasters. Man-made disasters are also causes for worry , attention and action.
Disaster management is essential to restore human life in the affected areas. The roles and responsibilities of government bodies, ministry / department of disaster management, NGO non-governmental organizations, citizen are to be known clearly.
This can be taught in school through a lesson in the school. So people learn it as they become citizen.
