The Editor,

The Times of India (or any other famous newspaper),

New Delhi.

Sir,

Sub: About the poor attention and neglicence on the part of medical staff

I would like to get the attention of the concerned authorities about the poor attention from medical staff in government hospitals by your esteemed newspaper.

Nowadays, we suffer from many health problems and diseases, making us go to many hospitals for medical help. But alas we come to  find out that either the doctor has gone out or unavailable. The problem where an individual can't find medical help at a given time is not good and should be resolved. If he does not get it at the time, then it may develop and lead to a worse problem. It could also lead to severe pain which needs more time to cure, if he dosen't get help early.

Doctors should understand the situation at hand and should arrive as soon as possible in the case of an emergency, and they should not waste time in arriving for the emergency.

Yours truly,

Subject: Expressing concern over poor attention and the negligence of medical staff in the government hospitals

Respected sir,

Through the columns of your recognized review, I would like to express the pain which I felt while seeing the medical staff of government hospitals paying spare or no attention to the cases and indulging in dereliction of duty. They treat the cases as if they're mendicants asking for alms. They refuse to entertain the indigent and try to put them off on one rationale or the other. They plainly refuse admission and always say ‘ no bed available. The helpless cases have to thickset in the corridors staying for their turn to be treated. Indeed the admitted sickly persons are neglected.

Bleeding and the injured don't touch the heart of the medical staff. They make their relatives run to the request for bandages, ointment, injections and whatnot. The poor people visit hospitals to get free treatment and government workers come because their bills would be refunded. The veritably medical staff serves VIPs like anything but for the general public their sentiments and feelings have dried up.

It's hoped that the concerned would take strict and exemplary action against the callous members of the medical staff.

yours
