Subject- Poor condition of roads on Gulmarg Road.

Respected Sir

I, (name), a resident of 23 Gulmarg street, am writing to express my desire to contribute to the highly regarded columns of your newspaper in the hopes of shedding some light on the state of the roads in my neighbourhood.

On both the main road (Gulmarg Avenue) and the side streets (the bylanes), there are a lot of potholes. The flood that occurred three months ago is to blame for these potholes, but there have been no efforts made to fix the problem since then. There have been a total of fourteen accidents as a direct result of the potholes over the course of the past three months. Although the Gulmarg Residents Association has sent a number of letters to the relevant authorities, they have not yet taken any action that is considered to be particularly significant. I am writing this letter in the hopes that it will bring this important issue to the attention of those who have power over it and that it will be solved in a timely manner.

Sincerely
