Through the columns of your esteemed newspaper, I would like to bring your kind attention to the shortage of water supply in the sector 15 of Ahemdabad. In fact, it is not just the sector 15 who is struggling with the supply of water, numerous cities around the country are facing the scarcity of water. To find the solution of a problem, we must track it's cause. Water scarcity has many causes which are not that uncommon to the common man, ranging from the wastage of water in different ways, pollution of water to the natural reasons.
This scarcity is just the beginning. Worse is to come. In our locality, women who waste buckets of water washing the veranda are now complaining about it's shortage.
If water is not used in a sustainable manner, I am afraid, in the next few years, we'll have almost no water left.
I hope you'd help this country by spreading this message. Thank you for your time.

Subject: Complain irregular irregular supply of water

Respected Sir,

Through the columns of your esteemed daily newspaper, I woul like to highlight the problem of water scarcity in this locality and polluted water supply.

For the last three weeks our locality is receiving very low quantity and irregular supply of water which is not enough for our daily basic needs like cooking and drinking. The few wells available in the area has dred up as they are not enough to meet the demand of so many people. The residents here are being compelled to buy water at exorbitant rates.

Therefore, I earnestly request the concerned department and the authorities to look into the matter urgently and immediately restore regular and unterrupted supply of clean water since the people of this locality are facing untold hardship.

Yours sincerely,

Anjali Mukherjee
