Sub: Health hazards caused by pesticides.

Sir,

Yesterday I happened to read the newspaper article specifying that our water, milk, fruits, vegetables, eggs, meat, flour, soft drinks and other products are full of pesticides. Most of them are contaminated. They have long-term effects on our health. So I am writing this to express my strong views on the health hazards caused by pesticides. The farmer’s preference for monoculture leads to concentration of pests, which in turn leads to the massive use of chemical insecticides and pesticides. Their poisonous elements enter into our body and become disastrous for us and cause cancer. Hormone disruption and immunity loss. The relentless use of pesticides has ushered in an unending saga of death and misery. For our safety measures, there should be proper regulations to check up the use of these substances. Side by side use of media should be utilized to create awareness among the people about their harmful effects.

It is high time to develop good control over its use in order to save humanity.

Yours faithfully,

Phillip/James
