Subject:-Ban poly Bags

Sir

Through the columns of your esteemed newspaper,I wish to inform you that I completely agree with the views published in the article'Ban Poly Bags' .It's a fact that poly bags are harmful due to their non-biodegradable nature. They don't decompose, instead they choke the drainage system. Most animals eat them and die in the long run.If they are burnt, their obonoxious smell pollutes the atmosphere.

(Change the paragraph with the change in point)

I request the people at large,in their interest and in the interest of mother earth,to wake up to this problem. Everyone should stop using poly bags. Jute bags and paper bags should take their place.

Thank you

Yours Truly (never use apostrophe in yours)

Subject: Cutting of trees in our locality.

Dear Sir

Through the esteemed column of your daily newspaper , I would like to express my views on the merciless cutting of trees in my locality.

In the past few years, we have come under the threat of global warming. The reason for this is cutting of trees and ignorance towards growing of trees. I would like to share that this problem has suddenly cropped up in my locality also. Only a few number of trees have left in my locality. Some mean people are continuously cutting the trees only for their greed. A large area was cleared for the building up of huge double - triple story houses. It is our own duty to protect our environment.

I am deeply anguished and concerned at this  recklessness. Trees can’t be allowed to be felled in the name of new constructions! Through the medium of your esteemed daily I appeal to people and the Government to preserve the few trees that are left among human colonies. It must be done at any cost. Kindly publish my letter in your reputed daily.

Yours truly,

Arnuv Raina
