Sir,
I would request you to allow me highlight the inconveniences in public life caused by indiscriminate blowing of loudspeakers. During social and religious festivals loudspeakers are blown thoughtlessly that create problem to all, especially to the students and patients. The students cannot give attention to their studies and patients cannot sleep and suffer from irritation. The time schedule prescribed by the board of pollution control is not maintained and no care is put to the decibel (DB). The meeting and procession of the political parties also create great noise in human locality by blowing their microphones and loud speakers at top of the pitch.
Such noise pollution is harmful to health. The Government should take necessary steps to control it and stop by enforcement of laws.
A strong public opinion should also be formed against this nuisance.
Thanking you,
Yours faithfully,
Trisha Roy
