Through the columns of your esteemed newspaper I would like to draw the attention of govt.and concerned citizens towards the problem of long power cuts and the inconvenience especially to students.

From many days we are having long power cuts which have became a total headache for us as we are not able to perform many of our daily routine activities properly. This problem is providing a big inconvenience to the students especially. They are not able to study due to the darkness in night and in the hot afternoon and the noise from the generators also create disturbance in their study. We have also made complaints a many times but nobody had came to solve this problem.

I want you to kindly publish my letter along with your editorials to wake up the sleeping government .

Yours truly

Subject: Frequent load shedding in Kailash Colony.

Sir,

Through the columns of your esteemed national newspaper, I would like to express my concern on the crisis of frequent load shedding in Kailash Colony.

In spite of lodging several complaints with the power department, nothing has been done and the locality of Kailash Colony continue to face frequent load shedding for the last three weeks. Due to this the people of this locality are facing much hardship. The unprofessional and callous attitude of the power department is clearly seen since it has given no reason for the cause of the load shedding.

Both parents and their children are upset with the frequent power cut as the annual final exams has already commenced.

It must also be noted that it is the common people, the low income and poor groups of people who suffer the most during load shedding because they cannot afford to buy solar panels or generators.

I therefore request the power department and the authorities to look into the matter immediately and restore uninterrupted supply of power to this locality at the earliest.

Yours sincerely,

Neelima
