Subject- Letter about the problem of poor water supply.
Sir,
Through the columns of your esteemed newspaper, I would like to draw the attention of the concerned authority through your newspaper towards the growing scarcity of water in my locality.
Since last Sunday, the people of my locality are facing the problem of scarcity of water. The only time when water is available is from 4-6 in the evening. It is becoming very difficult for people to live without water. Though at the level of being the citizen of the country there are certain duty and responsibilities which we too need to follow. Therefore I want to increase the awareness about the issue among the people.
Thanking you in anticipation.
Yours truly

Subject: Low quantity and irregular supply of water
Respected Sir,
Through the columns of your esteemed daily newspaper, I woul like to highlight the problem of water scarcity in this locality.
For the last three weeks our locality is receiving very low quantity and irregular supply of water which is not enough for our daily basic needs like cooking and drinking. The few wells available in the area has dred up as they are not enough to meet the demand of so many people. The residents here are being compelled to buy water at exorbitant rates.
Therefore, I earnestly request the concerned department and the authorities to look into the matter urgently and immediately restore regular supply of water since the people of this locality are facing untold hardship.
Yours sincerely,
