“I warn you at this stage that if the ongoing corruption is not ended then nobody can stop Islamic revolution in the country,” said Younas Khattak, district chief of Jamaat-i-Islami, while speaking at a seminar in Mansehra. The seminar, organised by district administration, was attended by government officials, leaders of political parties and representatives of civil society.
Mr Khattak said that Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) had given his followers a clear-cut line about leading their life. The people would spew their ill-gotten money if they followed the teachings of Islam, he added.
Speaking on the occasion, former leader of opposition in provincial assembly Shahzada Gusatsap Khan said that no government department at provincial and federal level was free of corruption.
