Subject: Request for provision of street lights.
Respected Sir,
Through the columns of your esteemed daily newspaper, I would like to highlight the lack of street lights in the Bhikaji Cama Palace of New South Delhi area.
The locality of Bhikaji Cama Palace does not have any street lights. As a result criminals and antisocial elements are taking advantage of the darkness of the night to commit crimes. Theft and burglary are on the raise. The residents of this locality are feeling unsafe and insecure. Without street lights there is grave danger of road accident and mishap at night which can lead to lost of precious life. The public of this locality urgently need street lights for their security and safety.
Therefore, I request the Municipal Corporation and the authorities to take up the matter and ensure provision of street lights to this locality at the earliest.
Yours sincerely,
ANJALI SINGH
