I hope you enjoyed your Diwali holidays. I had gone to Delhi to my cousin's place and had a a blast.
I visited various monuments during the day with my cousins: Jama Masjid, Red Fort, India Gate, Bahai temple; in the evenings we visited malls and markets. Delhi bears a very festive look for this special festival. The markets were alive with shoppers buying gifts and clothes, sweets and dry fruits. I shopped a lot, taking advantage of the sale offers. I was very excited to sit in the Metro and speed to various destinations! On Diwali day, all of my cousins and I burst crackers and enjoyed late into the night. I had a memorable trip to Delhi and hope to go there again.
