First of all, ask her how she’s doing. Then mention something you’ve heard that she’s done lately that your parents have informed you of. Then tell her how you are doing and the accomplishments you are proud of. If she has any health conditions that you know of ask her about those. If your grandfather is still alive ask how he’s doing. Then ask about your first cousins, if you have any. She will always treasure your kind letter.
