My dad, who retired last year as head of virology at the Institute of Tropical Medicine in Antwerp, Belgium, shared an interesting note with me and my siblings, to explain to us the situation and future outlook of the coronavirus. He also shared some useful practical tips, as to how we should live our lives, and stay in touch with one another.
I figured it may be helpful to share his insights and advice more widely, as we're all adapting to the "new normal" of life in times of the coronavirus. His analysis may give you a good, up-to-date perspective of how the virus is evolving, and what its future path and treatment may look like, but also how we all could adapt our habits going forward.
