GANDHINAGAR: The office of Gujarat governor Acharya Devvrat has written a strongly worded letter to the state government, complaining that the state education department has been taking no notice of communications by the chancellor’s office for the past two years.
The subject of the letter, written by the Governor’s office, is, “Continuous disrespect and humiliation of the Hon’ble Chancellor (Governor’s) letters by the department of education”. The letter says that despite repeated letters to the education department, seeking a reply on complaints made by Veer Narmad South Gujarat university syndicate member Sanjay Desai, the department failed to respond to the governor.
