Subject: Poor facilities in the government hospitals.
Sir
This is to draw your urgent attention to the deplorable state of things in the government hospitals of our area. Though the government hospitals is housed in an imposing structure, it lacks proper facilities. As a result, patients and visitors have to suffer.
A government hospitals means a hygienic and clean place, but this government hospitals is in a deplorable condition. The toilets stink; the corridors give out the unbearable smell and the wards are crying for immediate renovation. Linen on the beds is dirty. The medicines which the doctors prescribe are conspicuous by their absence.
There is no proper seating arrangement for the visitors and outdoor patients in the OPD. The patients have to stand in queues and there is no roof or shade over their heads. The fans are out of order. Whenever approached, the Chief Medical Officer shows his helplessness.
Please take immediate steps to improve the situation.
Yours sincerely,
Rakesh Gupta.
