Q1.Why it is inappropriate to use apostrophe in 'yours' either before or after the 's' ?
Q2.Why 'Yours obedient son', 'Yours loving son' and 'Yours affectionate brother' is wrong?

NOTE: Don't copy answers from Google :/ coz I checked it already there and didn't get anything !

1) may be I think words like yours need possession that's why apostrophe is not used in yours in a letter.
2 "yours obedient son" is not written because 1st of all yours is dedicated to our head or boss. So they need esteemed respect. So may be there is used yours. After yours we use adverb using ly not as usual word. It should be "yours obediently" or "your obedient" .

InnocentBachiNo1: It is preferred to write " 'Your' obedient son" instead of " 'Yours' obedient son" ?
