letter writing of formal to ask friend about homework
Answers
Explanation:
Hi!
I came up with my homework. The task is to write a letter for advice to a friend. Here is the text:
***
I was supposed to write 120-150 words, but I ended up with over 320 words. Nevertheless, the more I will write, the more I could learn.
Hey James,
thanks a lot for writing to me and asking me about how things are going!
Sorry for not replying for so long, but I’ve been quite busy in last few weeks. In fact, I thought that you could give me some advice, like at the old good times. I hope you don’t forget of old friends and you don’t mind giving me a hand. Because I’m kind of in hot water.
I will put everything in a nutshell.
Not only have I recently started studies, but I’ve changed work as well. Consequently, I’ve got difficulty dealing with new duties and people, and as you know me well, I love to get along with all the people around me.
I took up English Philology studies which means new schoolmates, lots of meetings over alcohol, not to mention education and exams.
Moreover, I work at a new place, and this again means many new workmates, and hanging around in pubs with them. In case you don't know what I mean, this is what they call integration in Poland, my friend. Have a pop to turn down the invitation to the pub for beer in order to know better and contract out-of-work relationships, and they are gonna talk behind your back.
To be thorough, I will tell you straight what I’m getting at.
What would you do if you were in my shoes? Frankly, I’m kind of between a rock and a hard place. The people I’ve just met want to acquaint themselves with me, so it all is going on about drinking beer over and over again, whereas I really try to study and memorise something at college. In addition to that, I want to meet the standards in my new job so that not to let my new boss down and get sacked by her.
What should I do, James?
Give me advice quickly, I’m looking forward to hearing from you!
Yours always trustful,
Dagmara
