Subject: NEED TO ADRESS THE PROBLEM OF NOISE POLLUTION
Sir
Through the columns of your renowned newspaper, I would like to draw attention towards menace of noise pollution in our city. The condition is getting worse day by day.
Continue exposure to noise pollution can lead to hypertension, Heart related problems besides increased irritability. It can also cause permanent loss of hearing. As a concerned citizen I strongly believe that we need to educate the common man about the harms of noise pollution. In the end, what matters is developing a sense of responsibility and civic sense.
Banning use of loudspeaker in residential areas after a particular time, banning use of power of horns in vehicles, are just a few steps than can help solve the problem. I hope this letter will make the readers think about noise pollution as a real threat and neccesssary steps will be taken before the problem becomes severe.
Yours Faithfully
