Subject : Informations regarding activities done in our country to reduce road accidents.

Dear Maxfy,

Hope you doing well. I got your letter just now. You wanted to know what are being done in our country to reduce number of road accidents. Now writing about it.

Road accidents have become a common feature in day to day life in our country. So government has taken some necessary steps to reduce road accidents. Some steps are as follows :

1. According to rules of government, roads will be constructed as a broader one.
2. Strict rules have been made while adding such educated drivers who are conscious of their duties.
3. Rules made to make people aware of being conscious about road accidents.
4. In courts, such rules have been passed.
5. Getting awareness in people , some important steps have been taken such as, posters, leaflets etc.

So, the government & normal people will be able to help each other to reduce road accidents.

I hope you are doing well as I am. I received your letter a few hours ago. You had asked a very crucial question i.e. What is being done in your country to reduce the number of accidents on roads.

Road accidents are really increasing in a great pace nowadays in every country. It was also increasing in America some few years ago, but now it seems to be stable. Thus is just because of some steps taken by the government.

I am noting down all those points so that you can understand how it become stable.

The points are as follows :

• The drivers who have read the road safety rules and regulations are registered with driving license.
• These drivers are only allowed to drive.
• If someone without driving license is caught will have to spend 10 years in jail.
• The government has made different and multiple lanes for different vehicle.
• A lane for people walking has also been made.
• The roads have been widened.
• Traffic lights are mandatory to be followed.

So, this is how our government is successful to reduce road accidents. I hope you understood.
