Anyway ,

It's too simple ,

Hey I am in 10th and definitely it's a 10th question

Anyway ,

1/a + 1/b = (a+b) /ab

Hey if you are aware that

Sum of roots = - b/a

Product of roots = c/a

So this is for ,

ax^2 + bx + c

Comparing with the equation ,

x^2 + x - 1

a = 1

b = 1

c = - 1

Sum of roots = - b/a

= - 1/ 1 = - 1

Product of roots = c/a

= 1/1=1

So

1/a + 1/b = (a+b) /ab

= - 1/1
