Given:

order of A is 4×3

order of B is 4×5

order of C is 7×3

To Find:

Find the order of (A^TB)^TC^T

Solution:

order of A = 4×3

therefore by property of transpose,

order of A^T= 3×4

order of B = 4×5

Order of the matrices in multiplication:

For the multiplication of two matrices, the number of columns in the first matrix should be equal to the number of rows in the first matrix. In the multiplication of two matrices, the order of the resultant matrix is such that the number of rows is equal to the first matrix, and the number of columns is equal to the second matrix.

therefore order of A^TB= 3x5.

order of (A^TB)^T=5x3 , property of transpose

order of C = 7x3

therefore order of C^T= 3x7 ( property of transpose)

Order of (A^TB)^TC^T = 5x7

Hence the order of the (A^TB^T)^TC^T is 5x7.
