Given :-

● If the same integer is added to the numerator of fraction 2/7 and subtracted from the denominator then fraction becomes 2

Solution :-

Let the integer be x

According to the question,

If the same integer is added to the numerator of fraction 2/7 and subtracted from the denominator then the fraction become 2

Now,

2 + x / 7 - x = 2

2 + x = 2 ( 7 - x)

2 + x = 14 - 2x

x + 2x = 14 - 2.

3x = 12

x = 12/3

x = 4

Hence, The value of integer is 4

Verification :-

2 + x / 7 - x = 2

Put the value of x

2 + 4 / 7 - 4 = 2

6/3 = 2

2 = 2

LHS = RHS

Hence, Verified .
