On rationalizing we get
1/ ( 4 - √15 ) × ( 4 + √15 )/( 4 + √15 )
( 4 + √15 )/( 16 - 15 ) = 4 + √15
Now, x + 1/x
4 - √15 + 4 + √15 = 8
