lhaki, samdrup had to choose a number between 1 and 10. the number she chose, she multiplied it by 100and divided it into four quarters. she added two quarter's and subtracted 180 from it.the answer was 20. what number did lhaki chose?

Let the no. Ihaki chose be x
When she multiples it by 100 it becomes 100x
When when she divides it into 4 quarters, value of each quarter becomes 25x

Now when she add two quarters she will get 50x

When she subtracted 50x by 180 she gets 20

I.E. 50x-180=20
50x =200

x=4

Thus she chose the No. 4
