LHS :- 2(x-3)

RHS :- 5(2x+4)

=> 2x - 6 = 10x + 20

=> 2x-10x = 20+6

=> -8x = 26

=> x = - 26/8

=> x = -13/4

Question :

To find R H.S of the eqn.

Solution :

L.H.S = 2 ( X - 3 )

R.H.S = 5 ( 2X + 4 )

Multiplying Eqn of L.H.S by 2 & eqn of R.H.S by 5

2x - 6 = 10x + 20

2x  +  - 10x = 20 + 6

 - 8x = 26

x =  \frac{26}{ - 8}

x =   \frac{ - 13}{4}
