**Answer: N=number of chairs in each row**

**amount he has at first=9 tiems n+reminder (3) or 9n+3**

**the 2nd times, he has 7 rows and reminder 19 so 7n+19**

**same amount of chair throught so**

**9n+3=7n+19**

**minus 7 both sides**

**2n+3=19**

**minus 3 both sides**

**2n=16**

**divide both sides by 2**

**n=8**

**total he has is 9n+3=9(8)+3=72+3=75**

**he has 75 chairs**
