Liberalism versus Liberalization:

Liberalism

1) The word denotes an “ideology” that one has the liberty or freedom to act one desires subject to conditions that the actions taken do not threaten the law and order of the society and preserves the social harmony.

2) It promotes development of ideas, promotes the tolerance level in society and is generally an indicator of how much is the society willing to uplift the vulnerable sections of the society.

Liberalization

2) It is opening of sectors, generally considered to be responsibility of state, for private participation and investment.
