lif is insoluble in water inspite of being ionic . why ?

Inspite of being ionic, LiF is insoluble in water because it shows partial covalent character because of the small size of Lithium. Moreover , Lithium is less electropositive as compared to its other group members so its electron cloud is

easily polarised. [Fazan's Rule]
