Location : Tundra region are found in the northern and southern hemisphere between the ice _ coverd poles and tge taiga or coniferous forests. in the north, this biome stretches across northern canada and Alaska ,Siberia and northern scandinavia , on or close to the Arctic circle.

Tundra is located in the north(in Arctic Circle), while we are located roughly, near the equator (at Torrid zone). Life there is very difficult. Only some animals like polar bear, reindeer, snow fox, walrus and penguins can survive.

In tundra

• the temperature frequently drops below 0 degree in summer , while in winter it has an avg temp of -50 degree
• Only few vegetation can thrive there. eg-moss, lichens, small shrubs.
• There is 6months complete darkness and 6 months summer there
• Low precipitation level.

In our location

• the temperature average is 30 degree.
• Here, there is much more greenery.
• we have no such 6months rule here.
• high precipitation level
