You say the 'land is being destroyed'. Not sure what you mean by this?

But if the Earth was 'destroyed', then the likelihood of the human species surviving at present is very low - even though there are trillions of Earth-like planets in the Universe.

There are an estimated 5 billion trillion planets in the Universe. Hundreds of trillions of these are likely to be very Earth-like.

However, none are reachable with our present technology, and there are no other Earth-like planets in our solar system.

If Earth were destroyed, small numbers of survivors may live for a while in Earth orbit on the space station, or if a Moon or Mars-base was established a few may survive there for a short while.
