life in the annex wasnt easy at all with the food decreasing every day and the way the water had to be used and on top of all the frustration each member had for each other the life became more miserable it was like living in a prison and the wish of the members of the annexe to go outside despite of the firing and torture outside was surprising life outside was also similar and there was no hope of survival but the members of annexe survived at least for some time .
