Answer:
People below the poverty line live their life in slum areas. Slums have become the indispensable and dark side of our country India. People here suffer from many communicable diseases and disorders. Many people starve 5 to 7 days and then they suffer from stomach aches. The slum isn't a good place to live. Here hygiene is not maintained. The biggest problem here is the scarcity of food and water, due to which many people die. Every year, 200 - 300 people die in each slum area. Slum areas are full of small puddles of dirty water and due to this, mosquito breeding takes place. Many people here suffer from malaria and dengue, just because they don't get blankets and bedsheets. People here don't get sufficient water to wash their clothes. They don't use washrooms and due to this, hygiene doesn't take place.
Houses are too close to each other, communicable diseases can be caught so easily. Thus, Life here is too tough. The Government Of India should take some action to prevent the scarcity of water and food in slum areas.
