Answer:

2.The idea of 'selfishness' refers to the means of circumstances under the influence of which a person becomes selfish. Hence, the person does understand the reality. Kisa Gotami was being selfish because we are humans and it is natural for us to die. We do not easily accept the death of our loved ones. Same has happened with Kisa Gotami. As it was her only child, she did not want him to die and finally went to Buddha to ask for help. I agree and disagree with Kisa Gotami because she was in deep grief when her son died but later realised the fact that death is common to all.

1.Kisa gotami had passed through a period of grief in her life. She looses her only child. She was grief stricken and begged for medicine from her entire neighborhood .A man suggested him to go to Gauthama Buddha .She asked him to give medicine that could cure her dead son.Buddha told her to get a handful of mustard seeds from a house where no one lost his/her father, child ,relatives or friends. In her grief she went to every door but can't find the house. She came to know that death is common to all. Lamenting doesn't bring dear or near one back to life.
