In this poem, it uses a lot of metaphors to describe the life. Our life is so dark since we don't know what will happen, but we can predict it by our feelings. Little morning rain can make us feel full with hope, dark clouds will make us feel horrible. However, they are all a sudden thing. We have to think positive, let everything be like how it goes. Author wants everyone to enjoy the life, enjoy every moment either happy or sad.
The author describes life as "dark", which means we cannot see through it. This is supported in next lines. Author has used personification in "Oft a little morning rain, foretells a pleasant day" to show more likely to how do we feel. Same, the line "Sometimes there are clouds of gloom," is using metaphor comparing "clouds of gloom" with a difficulty in the life. At last, "Enjoy them as they fly!" is concluding that we should enjoy every moment of the life whether for happiness or sadness.
