Life science is the term nowadays which is popularly used by the scientists instead of biology. However, the term 'biology' itself means the science of life.That means, the Greek word, 'bios' means 'life' and 'logos' means 'study'. So, it can be concluded that the word 'biology' is a combination form of 'bios' and 'logos'

According to the question, who is the father of Biology??

The answer is Aristotle.

But, the study about the different sectors of biology is not only the contribution of Aristotle. He is often considered as the father of zoology as he is the first person who studied about the characteristics of animals and however it is believed to be that, he is the first person who studied about the characteristics of living organisms so, he is known as father of biology.

But, Theophrastus is popularly known to be as the father of botany as he is the first person who studied about the plants. And Hippocrates is popularly known as the father of medicine as he is the first person who rationalized the science of healing and treating the sick. Carl Linnaeus is known to be as the father of taxonomy because, he is the first person who categorized the living beings into different classes according to the species and behaviour.  However, Robert Hooke is known to be as the inventor of cells because, he is the first person who proposed that all the living beings are made up of tiny block like structures which is termed to be as cell.
