Light, or Visible Light, commonly refers to electromagnetic radiation that can be detected by the human eye. When we look into a plane mirror, we see a reflection of ourself. This happens because light passes from us to the mirror and reflects back to our eyes. When light falls on a surface, a part of it hits the surface and returns like a ball that bounces back. This phenomenon in which light falling on a surface of the object is sent back by the surface of the object is called the reflection of light.

1) Draw labelled diagram of reflection of light by glossy tiles. 2) Write about any two properties of light.

Answer:

The primary properties of visible light are intensity, propagation direction, frequency or wavelength spectrum and polarization, while its speed in a vacuum, 299 792 458 m/s, is one of the fundamental constants of nature. ... Like all types of EM radiation, visible light propagates as waves.
