The rectilinear propagation of light means that light travels in straight lines as a wave.

Light is a stream of photons going at an incredible speed. And electrons have charges and mass as well.Light actually doesn't always travel in a straight line.It travels in a straight line relative to us.According to general relativity, light is seen to curve around a huge mass like the sun. Basically as per physics light is a energy that is particulate and wavy in nature.

If you want to observe the rectilinear propagation of light you can do an activity by taking a small straight pipe and passing a light and you could see light coming out of it but if you bend the pipe ..tou won't be able to see the list coming out of it...good luck. .hope it helps ..God bless you
