Light traveling through an optical fiber(n=1.44) reaches the end of the fiber and exists into air . If the angle of incidence on the end of the fiber is 30 degres. What is angle of refraction outside the fiber

as refractive index =

 \frac{angle \: of \: incidence}{angle \: of \: refraction}  =  \frac{x}{y}

so... putting values.

1.44 =  \frac{30}{y}

we get y = angle of refraction

= 20.8 degrees
