Speed = distance / time

= 3*10^8 = 15*10^11 / time

= time = 15 * 10^11 / 3*10^8

time = 5 * 10^3 sec.

Heya !!

Here is the answer.

Given :
Speed of light = 3 × 10^8 m/s
And, distance from the sun = 1.5 × 10^12 m

And, we know that time = distance/time.

So, time taken by light to reach on Earth
 =  \frac{1.5 \times  {10}^{12} }{3 \times  {10}^{8} }  \\  = 0.5 \times  {10}^{4}
= 5 × 10³ s.

Hope You Got It
