Griffin was a brilliant scientist. But he took fire in his landlord house.at the big Landon store he wore dresses and ate cold meat and coffee like a thief. Again he robbed the shopkeeper with all of his money and he stole money from the clergyman's desk at the local inn.After that when the constable came to arrest him he threw of his bandages, spectacles, whiskers and became a invisible person.
