Following are the active pressure groups in India and their role in the movement and struggle of the people; 

(i)  Federation of Indian Chamber of Commerce Industry(FICCI): They put pressure in formulating the budget. They make sure that the welfare of the people is made sure. 

(ii)  The Bhartiya Kisan Party(BKP): They work for the social and economic rights of the peasants. 

(iii) All India Student Federation(AISF): They put pressure on the government on issues related to education. 

(iv) Schedule Caste Federation: It works for the equal rights for all castes in India. 

(v) The Tribal League of Assam: They work for the rights of the people of Assam. 

(vi)  All India Medical Council: It works for the rights of the people associated with the medical field; their education and employment issues are the main purposes of this pressure group.
