Answer:

Italy, as we speak, has always been home to multiple cultures and dynasties. There are several languages due to the diversity. Italy was divided into seven different states ruled by an Italian Princely house. It has gone through many wars and had witnessed many kings. Back in 1861, Victor Emmanuel II was the king of entire Italy. However, Giuseppe Mazzini will always be remembered in history for the implementation of the Unitary Italian Republic. Thus, we can conclude that just like Germany, Italy too had a long history of political fragmentation.
