TO FIND:-

Distance between Town X and Town Y​

SOLUTION:-

lily drove from town X to town Y at an average speed of 78km/hr.

Distance = Speed × Time

Distance covered in 1 1/5 hour

= 78 × 6/5

= 93.6 km

Let say the distance between town X and town Y. = D km

3/7. of Distance = 3D/7 km

3D/7 = 93.6

D/7 = 31.2

D = 31.2 × 7

D =218.4 km

distance between town X and town Y is  218.4 km
