lim (x--> pi/4)(log (cotx))/(pi-4x)
first put x-pi/4=h
then lim(h--> 0)(log (cot (h+pi/4)/(pi-4h-pi)
=> lim(h--> 0)(log(cot (pi/4+h))/-4h
=>(-1/4) lim (h--> 0) log(cot (pi/4+h))/h
=>(-1/4) lim (h--> 0)(cot(pi/4+h)-1)/h
=>(-1/4) lim (h--> 0)(-tan (pi/4+h)/1
=> 1/4

abhi178: please mark as brainliest
bhaskar28: no 0.5 is the ans
abhi178: yes you are right
abhi178: in second last step I was wrong .
abhi178: >cot (pi/4+h)-1}/h gain 0/0 in h---> 0
abhi178: h----> 0
abhi178: differentiate nominator and denominator w.r.t h
abhi178: i.e (-1/4) (-cosec^2 (pi/4+h)/1
abhi178: now put value h--> 0 you got answer is 1/2
