It was 2 p.m. in the afternoon when Lima, a young tourist of 20 years, was stranded in Tashi village of Ladakh.

The last bus had left Ladakh village and now, dusk was gradually approaching.

The rest of the tourists left and lima saw to her utter astonishment that the battery charge in her mobile phone was extremely low.

 She tried to call the rest of the tourists but nobody replied to her call.

Gradually it began to rain, the last few strands of light strewn across the plain went off, the Ladakh valley was now embraced by darkness only.

Lima tried to comfort herself, as she was feeling extremely cold, the last drop of water in her bottle was finished, and she felt famished with hunger.

It was time that she suddenly saw a little village boy standing with a small lantern in his hand. He gave Lima some food, and showed her the way to the local bus stand.

When she reached the bus stand, she inquired about the last bus and then she reached to her home in Himachal Pradesh safely.

While she decided to help the little village boy by giving him some money, he retorted not to take it, he just smiled at her.

Gradually as she boarded the bus and tried looking back, she found that the boy had disappeared quite suddenly and then she also felt frightened.

The bus passengers said that the little village boy who helped tourists, died in a bus accident some 4 years before.

Lima started to cry.
