pH is a scale which shows that how much a substance is acidic or base ....
higher is the pH scale higher is the base level
lower pH scale shows how much a substance is acidic... the mean level is 7 i.e less 7 is acidic and greater 7 is base. here lime pH=2.2 i.e lime is acidic level and milk of magnesia pH=10 i.e it shows higher base level .... hope this will help you...
